On my first day in Venice, decided to take the cooking class for exploring the foods in Venice. Mauro taught me not only how to cook the dishes also the tradition and culture of culinary in Italy. He was so kind and spoke slow for me to understand easily. With this experience, I am beyond the just tourist and I come close to Venice! Thank you so much Mauro!

Grandios! Wir hatten zu meinem Geburtstag ein 3-Gänge-Menü bei einem Local gebucht und bekamen das beste Geschenk überhaupt: wir durften Mauro kennenlernen, unseren charmanten, humorvollen und stilvollen Gastgeber. Er ist Venezianer und bekochte uns auf das Leckerste mit regionalen, super frischen Produkten. Alles schmeckte köstlich, fein abgestimmt und raffiniert. Einfach toll! Statt der 3 gebuchten Gänge wurden wir mit 6 überrascht. Es hat uns super Freude gebracht und wir haben uns sehr angeregt unterhalten. Es gab von Cichetti über perfektes hausgemachtes Pesto und hausgemachte Tagliatelle in verschieden Varianten mit Riesengarnelen oder Babykalamar (beides super frisch vom Rialtomarkt) bis zum ebenfalls umwerfenden Tiramisu. Dazu tranken wir passende Getränke, natürliche durften dabei weder Select Sprizz noch ein wirklich guter Prosecco oder Kaffee zum Abschluss fehlen. Wir fühlen uns sehr beschenkt und danken dir nochmals von Herzen, lieber Mauro! Bis zum nächsten Mal
