Hi from Barbara!

Barbara welcomes us in Montepulciano Station, a historic village nestled on the hills in the province of Siena, near the characteristic medieval village is surrounded by three circular walls and is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the area. If you see it for yourself, you'll soon understand why: the old town sprawls over a steep hill, adorned with stunning towers and steeples, while its square opens onto the breathtaking panorama of the Tuscan countryside. Our Cesarina’s country house encapsulates this charming atmosphere. Her beautiful wine cellar is home to dozens of aging bottles of local wine, and the rest of the apartment is warm and welcoming. It is here that Barbara serves us her local specialties; simple, but with sterling character and unforgettable taste.

Barbara was wonderful! She was so kind welcoming us into her home. The cooking class was such a lovely experience and ran so smoothly. All her ingredients were incredibly fresh and I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Barbara was fantastic, everything was ready for when we arrived, including the red wine. She is so friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole experience to be perfect. We now have to make Gnocchi and Pici for our friends back in Portugal plus biscotti.

Barbara is an excellent teacher with a warm and engaging personality. We truly appreciated her hospitality in her beautiful home and kitchen. In addition to learning how to make two delicious pastas and biscotti, we learned a lot about the Montepulciano area. Barbara was also most generous in assisting us in making some local arrangements.

We had an amazing experience with Barbara. She was extremely knowledgeable about italian traditions around food, as well as local wines and olive oils. I appreciate the effort she made to use vegetables that were in season. She gave us useful tips to help our technique while making pici and gnocchi.
